River description:
The river springs in Jizerské mountains under Olivetská hora in the altitude of 820 m of the sea level. At first, it flows to the south, from Rudolfov to the west, and near to Stráž nad Nisou mouths to Lužická Nisa from the right. The river-basin is 27 km2 only. The valley is opening from Rudolfov, the river runs thorough inhabited countryside and is regulated in some places. The river bed is stony with steps, trees and other obstacles in a narrow bed,
forming the width from 3 to 6 m.
The flow is navigable during snow-thaw or after strong rains. The road follows the river, so the navigability can be estimated. The upper section is to be investigated in advance. The navigation can be effected within an hour.
