River description:
The river basin of Lužnice mouth to Lužnice river.
Černovický potok (creek) springs in Křemešnická vrchovina near to Černovice in an altitude of 640 m of the sea level. It flows in the southeastern direction to the plains near to Soběslav , where it mouths to Lužnice river. The river basin forms 137 km2. The crrek flows through a plain countryside, so it belongs to the pain flows. The meadows are changing with forests on its banks. The bed is of brook-type, a couple of meters width , partially overgrown with plants and trees. The weirs are not in a good state and delay the navigation.
The brook is navigable after strong rains or after ponds´ fishing out. The navigation is, owing to the obstacles mentioned above, slow, 3-4 kms in an hour only.
