River description:
The river of Dyje arises in Austria by confluence of Moravian and Austrian Dyje (Thaya) and enters to the Czech territory in southwestern area of the community of Podhradí nad Dyjí.
From this place runs alternately in the southeastern as well as northeastern direction along the southern border of Czech Republic. From Břeclav follows to the south and forms the state border up to its mouth to the Morava river. The length of navigable section is 114 kms approx., total flow length on Czech territory is 209,4 kms.
