First information regarding Líšnice comes just of 1337. In past, Lišnice was mainly agricultural community. Consequently, further estates were built, and after White Hill Battle there were here to be found nearly 16 houses. At present, the village has 300 inhabitants approx. In this agricultural countryside, which was not too fertile and now it is not cultivated any more, there are planting here some critical menaced sorts of plants, such as, for instance, pasque-flower. Linden-tree planting belongs to local customs. Nearby the village, there is to be found a humid area, created spontaneously from artificially made basin which served as swimming pool in past. However, this moistened place is nearly dry in summer. Anyway, as moistened place, it seem to be ideal. Mostly amphibians find a place of resort here, and they are able to reproduce here.
