How you can get there ?
The observation tower you see from the parking lot in Jasna – Bila Pout disctrict, where you can either bring your own car or transported here by shuttle bus. From the parking lot it is necessary to issue the yellow trail leading through the entire ridge Ostredok. A pleasant walking pace to get to the tower in about 20 minutes, so we could do with your happy children. In winter, the output may take a few minutes longer, depending on the height of snow packed or icy snow layer.

If you want to prolong your walk in Tatra nature, you can continue along the yellow trail, which leads you to the SNP Memorial . If you continue along the yellow even further, you get to symbolic cemetery of the victims of the Low Tatras where you can take time to relax and spend quiet reverent memory of all who perished in the mountains. There are dozens of tables placed the names of those who died just in the Low Tatras.
Another point of interest lying near the observation tower on Ostredok worth a visit at any time of the year is Vrbicke Lake . The lake is situated several hundred meters from a parking lot in Jasna. You may terminate your trip such as a glass of delicious hot tea or mulled endowed in Nicolas’ Cottage on the shores of the lake.
