In the middle of the road between Key West (the southernmost island of the Keys island, south of Florida) and the Florida peninsula visit Bahia Honda State Park. The park is located on Bahia Honda Key island, about 7 miles from the island of Marathon. There is the legendary 7-mile bridge. The area between the signs of 36th and 37th mile of the Oceanic Highway 1 is the gateway to the park. The park is open from 8 am till the sunset.

When our alarm set off at four a.m. it took us some time to realize where we were, especially after the strenuous day before. Siem Reap is a small town visited by tourist in large numbers thanks to its Angkor Wat temple complex as well as other temples. The town was still asleep when we hopped on our rented bikes to ride to our next adventure.

The Everglades National Park is situated down in Florida's south which sees high tourist traffic. We are no exception. The entire area is listed in UNESCO's World Heritage Site list. This park is at low altitude. Vast marshalnds which cover most of park's area are typical for this region. Home in there are aligators and crocodilles for which marshlands is a natural habitat.

You can buy tickets valid in entire Angkor Wat with different duration. Me decided for a three-day ticket. We did want to enjoy all the temples in slow pace. The first two days we explored surrounding temples and we left Angkor Wat itself for the last day.
