Sierra Nevada Mountain Range, including its highest peak of Spain (Mulhacen - 3482 m) is spreaded not far from the town of Granada, in the length of 75 kilometres, You can find there the biggest Spanish National Park, such as: Parque Nacional Sierra Nevada.

The tenth day of our journey we made a trek in Sierra Nevada Mountains and climbed up to the top of Veleta (3392 m), the second greatest peak of Spain.
On this very day we take you to the Spanish island of Mallorca situated in the western regions of the Mediterranean Sea. It belong to the Balearic Islands autonomous region. As it is winter now, the beginning of the year is the best time to plan a summer vacation. The following lines should introduce you to this amazing, shiny island.
Our next goal when traveling around the island is the place called Atlantis and the Ses Salines National Park.
Even though summer is slowly coming to an end, it is still a good time for vacation. Today, we will head the sunny country of Spain, more precisely to Andalusia. We will see the province of Malaga to enjoy the Costa del Sol.
Today, we visit the Spanish city of Salamanca, located in the Autonomous Community of Castile-Leon. Since 1988, the historic center of the city is part of the UNESCO World Heritage List and after reading the following lines you will understand why it is so. You will feel as if you are walking in some huge historical open-air museum.
Tourists who would prefer rather more adventurous experiences should visit this city in the northeastern corner of the country.
Avila's pride, among others, are its perfectly preserved walls. Once you get there, you will find yourself in a world where time has stopped. These walls protect many historical monuments including Romanesque churches, medieval monasteries or Renaissance palaces.
Today we head to Andalusia. There we will take a look at the so-called Pueblos Blancos, or white villages that carry the charm of the ancient Moorish times. These small small villages are known by white houses typical of the Berber architecture of North Africa, a region that is home to the Moors.

On my road from Cádiz to Toledo, I spent couple of days in Lisbon. I think I really deserve some comfort and a shower. Thus, I would live in a hostel this time.

I visited the Catalonian capital with my family for a week in the time of Christmas holidays. I like to learn about culture of the country I spend my time in so I spent lot of time wandering in the streets, in parks or had breakfast in back-alley cafes with locals. I enjoyed hours-long dinners having great tapas and even better wine. I tried to met as new people as possible. True, only disadvantage was that I didn’t speak Spanish or Catalonian.
Having 512 meters, Tibidabo is the highest summit of the Serra de Collserola. Therefore, you should miss it if you want to enjoy one of the best vistas over Barcelona. Tibidabo is on city’s northwest. You can easily distinguish it for its white temple on the top.
Our trip to sunny Spain will be the last remark on summer this year that for the last time shows itself as the weather is really good this week.
Certainly I am not the only one who used services of a lowcost airlines. To be honest, I have never regretted doing this. I was pleasantly surprised that such a journey gave as a bonus.
