Small Sloveniantown Postojna is with its 15 000 inhabitants known to all lovers of traveling from all around the world. It is mostly thanks to its unique cave system called Postojnska jama. An interesting cave system belonging to main turistic atractions of Slovenia had been created by an underground river Pivka. A significant part of the rout, which is also the longest cave rout in the world, visitors undergo in a small touristic train. To other interesting things of the cave we can add the olm (Proteus anguinus) and there is a fair chance for you to see him. Unfortunately it isn't allowed to make photos in the cave, however, at least you can see several photos of Postojna and beautiful surroundings of the cave.
Not far away, only few kilometers, from Postojna is a unique Predjama Castle(Predjamski grad).
