Nove Zamky is a district capital situated on the Nitra river. There are cultural landmarks, sports centers, places to relax and beautiful places to make trips to. Also, there are modern children playgrounds unlike any others in Slovakia. It was one of the most bombarded cities during the WWII. Many landmarks, however, survived. You can see these in our photogallery. Should you travel by the city make sure to visit Nove Zamky. It will pleasantly surprise you.

SK: Dvory nad Žitavou: The Beauty of Podunají - VIDEO
On the left bank of the river Zittau, approximately 7 km from the district town of Nové Zámky, is one of the largest villages in Slovakia - Dvory nad Zitavou. Its neighbours are the already mentioned Nové Zámky, Bešeňov, Branovo, Semerovo, Dubník, Bajč and Pribeta.
