Short characteristics:

Busov Hill Range is formed with resistent paleogene mineral stones of outside minerals. The range has inversed relief, with dominating rounded sandstone massifs, which are cut with river valleys. Those most popular, highest and most interesting peaks, from tourist point of view, are busov and Stebnicka Magura (900 m).

This hill range belongs to moderately warm and cool climatic area. Dominating part of its surface is covered with mixed forests, where the beech-wood is mostly appeared tree sort. The parts where the forests are missing, are covered with permanent grassed copse and arable soil.

On west foot of the highest peak of Busov hill range, there is a spring of Cigelka mineral water. This is unique carbonic mineral water of the best quality, belonging to healing mineral waters. The water is recommended to all people which suffer from digestive organ problems. In the community of Cigelka, there are to be found fourteen mineral springs at least.
