Compared to the previous year of Infofest (approx. 2 300 people), participation in the festival increased by 100%! Altogether over 5 000 travel enthusiasts from different parts of Slovakia have found their way to Liberty Square or to the Cultural House of Liptovský Mikuláš to enjoy the experience of professional travelers - adventurers.
Visitors to the festival had the opportunity to see 22 lectures, most of which resonated with travel experiences from Kenya, Japan, Route 66 or New Zealand. Of course, other presentations also enjoyed great interest. Altogether, more than 1 800 enthusiasts attended the lectures..
The event also included musical performances. Spectators enjoyed traditional Slovak folklore performed by FS Kriváň, younger years came back to modern music performed by the Czech band Verona and the performance of Dominika Mirgová and this year's music star was Vašo Patejdl - legend of the Czechoslovak music scene.
During the whole festival, a pleasant atmosphere was taken care of by moderator Marián Galajda, Retro Prague Historic Rally event on Friday, which showed beautiful historical cars in the city center or Saturday's launch of a new tourist guide.
The bounce castle, information stand with promotional materials and face painting also enjoyed great interest. Even rainy Saturday weather did not spoil the good mood of visitors. The evaluation poll connected with the raffle was also successful, involving a total of 936 visitors.
The most frequent suggestions for improving the festival were the expansion of the gastro offer during the event or postponement of the lectures.
